Under Lavanda Remains Update Launched



It finally arrived. The update where you explore a secret room inside Lavanda Cave arrived, and oh boy,
the amount of dialogues I had to work with this update, were literally A LOT. And I really mean A LOT.

I hope you guys enjoy the update, and also interacting with the new characters that it introduces, beside
probably you guys wont like one, and I wont blame you, since that character is horrible.

Lavanda Cave Secluded Area Accessible

The path to Lavanda Cave Secluded Area is opened.

A creature composed of 3 dogs fused together defends the depths of this cave, and will not let anyone pass through unless they
prove themselves 'worthy'.
Nobody has any idea how one can prove being 'worthy', but gladly, brute force also works too.

What is located deep inside the cave? Well, good luck finding out.

New Guild Member: Shikabane

Shikabane is the newest guild member you can get to your guild on the latest update.

He's an assassin, who's also victim of the zombifying curse that Lavanda region suffers.
He will only agree to join your guild until he manages to get his revenge, but maybe you can convince him to stay with your guild in the future.

Currently, he's skilled with dagger usage, and can use only one dagger to attack, if you want him to have higher evasion rate, or two daggers,
if you want to cause the maximum damage per second as possible.
You can pick, or use both depending on situation.

Some Measures against Audio Stacking implemented

I've implemented a few measures to try avoiding the issue where if an audio is played at the same frame multiple times, it stacks and gets louder.

I will still need to implement that to other audio sources, like debuffs, but at least skill damages should no longer trigger that issue.

Change Log

Nerfed the defense rate of the Knight Helmet.
Buffed the defense rate of the Soldier Helmet.
Characters that can block attacks will now correctly totally nullify damage when blocking attacks from smaller or same size foes.
Items with summons attached to them will now correctly carry over their summon slots when swapped.
The game will handle audio playing simultaneously differently, to try avoiding audio stacking.
Fixed spacing issue with new quest description text.
Changed the Blizzard skill effect.
Boosted the drop rate of Rabbit Meat from Lapins.
Fixed some windows of the big house, which were somehow outside of the wall models.
Lavanda Cave Secluded Area is now accessible.
 => A fragment of Lavanda Kingdom lore is buried under this cave. I hope you're ready.
 => Added new characters you can interact with. Most of them are related to this cave.
New Guild Member Introduced: Shikabane.
Fixed Bat Mask's rarity. It's now Rare, instead of Normal.
Changed Mane Demon Mask rarity to Rare, instead of Uncommon.

Epilogue

Well, that's it for current update. I will be taking a break from continuing the plot of Lavanda region for now, because the lots of dialogue work fatigued me, and I mean fatigued me A LOT.

I will try focusing on some contents that needs to be reimplemented, maybe even characters that need to be worked on to be playable, and also work on a new region you could explore in the game.

Based on the voting done in the game Discord Server, it seems like we're going to explore the beach to the South of South Gavea Field, where Purrates wander around of, and also where Gelking and his Fox Slimes cave is located. What kind of things we'll find there?
Well, there's only one way of finding out, once the update comes out.
