Holidays Update
Holidays are here, and I've been so busy working on the new zone and boss, that I haven't even got to plan out the christmas event.
Due to my lack of time, I prepared something just to not let the holiday pass unnoticed on the game world.
Xmas Event (December 8th~January 7th)
Sadly, this event wont also have any special quest or anything for you to do, but you will receive presents, whose number will increase depending on quests you have solved, to give an extra conclusion by now.
Those presents will give you either a Santa Hat, or will give you some rare hats or accessories the game has to offer.
If you had bad luck getting them, now is the moment.
The presents can also be acquired from killing monsters, if you want more chances of getting something unique.
All monsters will also drop Candy Canes when defeated, and some of them will be shown wearing Santa Hats.
Improved Gavea FPS
I changed the model of the towers in the city, and made the lamppost lights no longer emit shadows, so that will improve your fps in Gavea,
in case you were struggling with it (even more at night).
It was also added a Church with a cemetary behind it. Currently, you cannot enter the church, and I will still need to work on the acolytes.
Other Changes
I have changed how monsters aggro work. Now, higher threat rate will no longer make monsters outside their normal view range to notice a character. Instead, aggro will check the monster targets in range, and check who to attack is the nearest summed with highest threat value.
That should make situations less periolous when using certain skills from your tanker characters.
Some characters gained new skills. Kiki has acquired Fireball skill, which might be handy if you want her to try attacking sometimes.
Steal got a 5 seconds cooldown, and Magara acquired a skill which makes all the group gain experience bonus by having her in the team.
Remember of her if you want to train your characters.
I also halved damage given by weapons that increases damage value, to make the game a bit more harder.
Debuffs like Bleeding and Bone Fracture also got a bit more dangerous. Be careful with them.
Changelog
Kiki's Healer CT now has the Fireball skill.
Lavanda Zombie soldiers can now devour corpses again.
Weapons got their damage increased about halved.
Fixed an issue where effects wasn't correctly affecting Dalia.
[Acid in need] quest now asks you to collect 7 Acids, instead of 3.
Steal skill now has a 5 seconds cooldown.
=> It's not to invalidate the skill, but it was odd that it was literally spammable.
Bleeding Debuff now causes more damage, and triggers a bit more often the health depleting.
=> The damage received from attacking or moving while bleeding also has been increased, alongside the chance of happening.
Damage from attacking while with Bone Fracture debuff increased.
Added a failsafe for the mobs position saving in the game world.
=> This should avoid mobs from spawning outside of the map walkable areas, and cause issues.
Added a new monster to Gavea Sewer B2.
=> Yes, it's a reskinned monster, but I tweaked it a bit to make it standout.
Fixed a bug where Purrate Catptain Ricardo wasn't summoning minions.
=> He will also say something when defeated.
Improved Gavea FPS.
View range of monsters no longer increase based on character aggro values.
=> Aggro will now only give priority on who the monster will attack.
Added a new quest to Gavea.
Summons invoked by healer characters will no longer turn hostile towards allies the healer tries to heal.
Fixed a bug where characters could end up being resurrected by health restoring effects and buffs.
Reduced the weight of Santa Hat.
Changed the font of the mailbox, to something more readable.
Implemented a improvised Xmas event.
Magara acquired Mentorship skill.
That's about it for this update.
Sorry for taking too long to make this new area accessible, but this boss fight I envisioned is quite complex,
and not just a dragon will take place in it.
