New Character Face Designs added.
Sorry for delaying the update fixing Denis outfit issue, but I wanted to finish something that came with the new update first, which I'll talk about now...
New Character Face Portraits
That's right. Guild Members and Pets now gained new facial portraits.
All characters have portraits depicting their appearance and also their personality, each designed differently with only using a face shape patern.
I'm now curious to know whose new portaits is one's favorite heh.
The only little problem with the facial portraits, is that some characters might look older than should, and some portraits might not be looking good. But, I gave it my try, and future updates might bring changes to the character portraits too.
New Spell Design Attempt
I'm trying to design new quirky spells for the game, and ended up adding that spell to Maria's Pyromancy skill, which turns
your guild mate into literally a match stick.
Not only the guild mate will produce lighting while under the effect of that aura, but also will hurt, and potentially cause
foes affected by it to burn.
I'll see if I can add more interesting and bizarre looking spells to the game. Hopefully they wont make the character too
op.
Changes to delay between using a spell when using basic attack.
The delay between using a spell when using a basic attack were extremely annoying on previous updates, even more if you used a guild member with a long attack duration, like Asphalion.
Now, skills will begin being used when the attack animation ends, instead of waiting for the delay until next attack to happen.
Halloween Event (Oct. 10th~Nov. 7th)
Halloween event is up, and I still need to prepare what this year event will bring.
Still, doesn't mean there wouldn't be anything to keep you busy, since Polter Pumpkins are on the loose again, and they will offer Trick or Treats to guild members that approach them. Or, you can bash them for some minor rewards, or for the pet item.
Be careful by the way, Polter Pumpkins got a new curse they can inflict on guild members when they answer Trick.
Changelog
Added the following skills to Maria Combat Techniques:
=> Pyromancer:
=> => Living Flame (Turns an ally into a living flame for some time, hurting foes close by, and having a chance to ignite them).
=> Cryomancer
=> => Frost Driver (Launches a freezing wave in a specific direction, hurting, and sometimes freezing foes affected.)
Changed the default volume of the game from 10% to 50%.
Soothening Song skill will no longer still heal allies when the owner of it is incapacitated.
Skills shall no longer take way too long before activating when the caster is attacking.
Denis outfit will now have the correct frames drawn on his body.
Added the Rush skill to Benny's Peddler Combat Technique.
Plasma Eaters attack effect will now correctly be disabled when they are defeated or despawn.
Fixed a bug where respawning on map wasn't working correctly, when a monster has a chance to appear.
Polter Pumpkins got a new curse they can trick players with.
Fixed a particular issue causing Waschbarens behaviour not to work correctly.
Guild Members and Pets now got new portraits.
Winning the fight against Samson will now make fallen guild members to be revived.
Partially fixed the tent model shading bug.
=> I think I will have to remake the model :X
The game will now show a pop up on the guild hall, when something on the computer like antivirus impedes world data to be updated.
=> That pop up will unallow you to access the guild hall buttons, and show a message talking about the situation, alongside a Ok button that takes you back to Main Menu.
Well, that is it for this update.
I still have to prepare something for halloween event though. But, the Polter Pumpkins are already around, up to offering either Trick or Treat to guild members that get close to them.
